Details
The platform developed jointly by Ruan General Hospital in Kaohsiung and Xinline Information was showcased at the '2025 Kaohsiung Smart City Expo.' The system aims to simplify administrative tasks using AI. Specifically, the 'AI Intelligent Search Board' function automatically extracts necessary HIS data, integrates it, analyzes it, and uses generative AI to create key summaries, significantly reducing time spent on data organization. Another feature, 'Cancer Drug Review FHIR Conversion,' utilizes AI-driven smart analysis to automatically convert raw data into the international standard format of FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources). This completes tasks that previously required extensive manual effort in seconds, facilitating seamless data exchange between different medical institutions and supporting Taiwan's move toward international standardization. The hospital director also mentioned developing an internal 'Nursing Record Five Steps' to automate nursing record keeping, addressing staff shortages. Xinline Information highlighted that its API management platform provides a highly flexible middleware architecture, enabling FHIR standard conversion without modifying the hospital's existing HIS. This aligns with policy initiatives such as the Ministry of Health and Welfare's 'Taiwan Healthcare Information Standard Large Platform,' which mandates FHIR for data exchange.
