Cross-Hospital FHIR Data Platform Achieves Milestone: New Era for Medical Information Sharing

The Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) in Taiwan held an announcement for the 'Cross-Hospital FHIR Data Platform' to accelerate national medical informatization. The primary goal was to overcome challenges such as 'format inconsistency' and 'system barriers' when exchanging electronic medical records between different hospitals. The platform successfully converted clinical data, previously scattered across various institutions and difficult to utilize, into the internationally recognized FHIR format.
