The MOHW revealed the progress of its 'FHIR One-Stop Conversion Tool' as part of its next-generation digital healthcare platform plan. The tool features two core capabilities: first, refining medical records to clarify their content; and second, mapping that content to international standard codes. After validation using three medical centers and over 12,000 patient records, the overall coding recommendation accuracy reached 91.3%. Moving forward, the team plans to introduce an AI Agent (AI Agent) to further automate the error feedback and correction process. This development is expected to significantly contribute to the standardization and efficient utilization of digital medical data in Taiwan.
