Da Tong Medical Care and ITRI aim to realize AI-powered smart healthcare and home care through this collaboration. Three main pillars are identified: 'data standardization,' 'AI clinical application,' and 'home healthcare.' Specifically, Da Tong Medical Care will establish a foundation for medical data interoperability by leading the integration of multiple systems based on FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), an international medical data standard. Meanwhile, ITRI will develop clinical decision support applications using multi-modal AI technology via its AI medical integration platform, 'MedBobi 2.0.' The two parties will validate their approach through a Living Lab mechanism in actual medical settings to establish applicable and reproducible models. This process starts within ITRI's facility and expands through outpatient clinics, inpatient/emergency processes, ultimately aiming for the construction of a complete care system 'from hospital to home.' Da Tong Medical Care leverages its extensive experience to facilitate the safe and rapid exchange of medical records and information between different systems by implementing the FHIR international standard, thereby enhancing data sharing and interoperability.
