Dadang Medical Care to Build International Healthcare Data Interoperability Platform Using FHIR Standard

Dadong Company announced that its consolidated revenue in April reached NT$4.139 billion, marking a high point compared to the same period over the past eight years. While the overall performance was strong, various segments contributed significantly. The power business group's heavy electrical equipment division saw record monthly sales due to stable shipments (e.g., transformers for Taipower), and the motor business benefited from large-scale orders related to AI chip demand. In parallel, Dadong’s subsidiary, Dashi Ke, maintained steady double-digit growth by meeting the rigid demand for enterprise AI computing infrastructure and AI Agents. Critically, a subsidiary named 'Dadong Medical Care' (大同醫護) signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Industrial Research Institute of Taiwan's Biomedical Institute. This collaboration focuses on standardizing and integrating an international medical database based on the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR). The goal is to establish a foundational system for seamless exchange of medical information across multiple disparate systems. By linking this interoperable data platform with AI technology, Dadong Medical Care aims to gain a competitive edge in the rapidly growing at-home smart healthcare market.
